What size tent will I need? Equation: Number of Guests _____ X 10 Sq. Ft. = ___________ Square Footage Needed Remember to keep in mind the tables, chairs, DJ (100 sq. ft.), dance floor (sq. footage using), buffet (200 sq. ft.), and other items to be put under the tent as well. These items will need their own space. What is the difference between a pole tent and a frame tent? Which will I need? A pole tent is much biger due to the poles in the middle of the tent, which allow weight to be distributed much easier. Pole tents are mostly used over grass. This way we can stake them to the ground. Example: A frame tent is exactly the way it sounds. The poles are establishes only on the perimeter of the tent. No poles in the middle to worry about. However it requires extra support to stabilize. Water barrels are usually used, but if permitted we can drill in asphalt as well. Example: What kind of lighting would be appropriate for underneath a tent? "Can" lights would be the most appropriate. They come on strings of 10. |
